It's our way to honor the families that led us to where we are today. Tully: The original landowner and steward. Edwards: My last name. Girard: the original farmer family and my mother’s maiden name.
I can’t necessarily say we are special. We are just trying; trying to make it as a small time farmer. We are learning and loving it everyday!

Over the last few years we have acquired a total of 400 acres that is a mix of hard timber, a creek, native grasses and Bermuda grass.
This was/is a dream of my children. My daughter, Audrey, and daughter in law, Destri, always wanted to be stewards for the land and so we reserve spots of the land that the cattle cant get to. My son, Noah, who is currently in vet school wanted to start raising cattle, taking after my grandfather. He along with friends and other family have worked to get a good selection of cattle and bulls and this is our 2nd year having cattle. We use prescribe fire. We minimize herbicides. We keep milkweed and wildflowers up for butterflies and other pollinators. We have worked to plant trees that are beneficial to wildlife. We switched to no till and use it to supplement grass and alfalfa. We are blessed to have deer, elk, as well as other critters on the land.
The cattle is primarily Angus and Hereford or Mixes of the two. There are a few favorites and we are working yearly to improve the herd.
The land is beautiful and has never been tilled and the native grasses are so beneficial for the growth of the cattle. We added the Bermuda grass last year to supplement the native grass for the cattle to graze.
Are we special? No, but to us this is special! We just work hard and love the land and the cattle. We treat all of our animals humanely and try to be as respectful to the land as we can.
Did we grow up farming? Not really. My childhood home always had cattle behind it; my grandfather’s. He was a hard working man and never had time to teach me how to farm. He did pass it on to my son Noah. He lives to farm.
Do we know what we are doing? Not really. We have good friends that give us advice. We read articles and research all the time. Audrey is working on a Natural Resource and Wildlife management degree, so she makes sure that all we do is good for the land as well.

The local farmer sells it to a feedlot. The feedlot sells it to a packer (which really controls all the profits and are being investigated for making high profits on beef) and lastly the retail grocery store sells it for a profit.
4. The price will include all the raising, feeding, processing. The beef is USDA inspected and will have excellent marbling from the 2 beef we had processed last year.
5. Your helping a small time farmer actually make a little money on his dream. I promise im not getting rich doing this.
